Winning the 2010 Mid-American Football Conference Championship at Miami University. We went from 1-11 in 2009 to 10-4 in 2010.
 

Andy Cruse is a 2008 graduate from Turpin High School, where he played football and basketball for the Spartans. Cruse then went on to Miami University where he played football. They won a conference championship in 2010 and Cruse captained the RedHawks in 2012 for his senior season. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Miami in 2013. He finished his RedHawk career at #6 all time in receptions with 160. Cruse then went on to play in the NFL for the Houston Texans in 2013 and the Minnesota Vikings in 2014. His NFL career is highlighted by a touchdown he scored at Cowboy Stadium while playing for the Texans in a pre-season game. 

Cruse has coached varsity football for four years as well as at the freshmen level for basketball for four years. He began his coaching career in 2015 at Turpin and coached at Moeller High School the last three years.

Coach Cruse is an Intervention Specialist and is very passionate about helping students succeed. He enjoys spending time with his family, exercising and traveling.

Andy and his wife, Ashley, are expecting their first child this November.
