Favorite Sports Memory:
Though its not a tennis memory, my favorite all-time sports memory was watching the 1980 USA Olympic Hockey team; the "Miracle On Ice." I was in 7th grade at the time and I recall gathering around the TV with friends and family to watch a group of amateur athletes (the US athletes were not permitted to be paid professionals then) defeat the best professional hockey players from around the world.
I've been coaching tennis at LHS since I did my student teaching there in 1995; one year prior to being hired as a teacher at LMS. I began coaching the boys varsity team in 2009 and have a current boys record of 88-55 with 5 league championships (FAVC & ECC). I also coached the girls varsity team for a few years and coached that program for two of their championship titles. Other than coaching tennis I enjoy playing guitar, baseball and basketball.
My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my wife, Christine, and four children (Rachel, Jessica, Eric and Evan).
