Loveland High School Girls Basketball Ready for a New Season Under New Head Coach Jon Unruh

LOVELAND, OH - The Loveland High School Tigers are gearing up for an exciting basketball season with a new leader at the helm. Jon Unruh, the team's new head coach, will be making his coaching debut for the Tigers' girls basketball team. As of the upcoming season, which kicks off on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Chuck Schmidt Gymnasium against Ross High School, Unruh will be tasked with improving last season's record of 8-15.
Under Unruh's guidance, the Tigers hope to leverage the talents of key returning players such as Katy Wilbur, Ansen Hearn, Anna Proano-Raps, Claire Neiger, Ryann Unruh, Macey Allen, and Aunna Dancy. These athletes are expected to play a crucial role in the team's performance throughout the densely packed schedule, featuring both tough away games and crucial home stands.

Coach Jon Unruh expressed optimism about the upcoming season, emphasizing the team's preparation and the importance of starting strong. 'We've been working hard in the off-season, focusing on our game execution and team chemistry,' Unruh last commented. The Tigers' slate includes fixtures against opponents Mercy McAuley and Ursuline Academy in the days following their season opener.
